1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, or placing an order with EFJ Co., Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Vehicle Listings and Availability
All vehicles displayed on our site are subject to prior sale. Stock levels, prices, and specifications may change without notice. While we make every effort to keep listings accurate, we do not guarantee that photos, descriptions, mileage, or year information are free from typographical errors.
3. Prices and Currency
Prices are shown in USD as our wholesale export (FOB Japan) price unless stated otherwise. Prices do not include ocean freight, marine insurance, destination handling charges, import duties, or local taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility.
4. Quotations and Orders
A quotation is valid for the period stated on the offer, typically 7 days. An order is confirmed only after we receive a signed proforma invoice and full or partial payment as agreed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our sole discretion.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is accepted by international bank transfer (T/T) to our nominated account. All bank charges on both sides are for the buyer's account. Vehicles are reserved only once cleared funds are received.
6. Vehicle Condition
Unless a formal third-party inspection (JEVIC, JAAI, or similar) is purchased, vehicles are sold on an "as-is" basis. Used vehicles may show wear consistent with their age and mileage. We strongly recommend requesting an inspection report before purchase.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Estimated shipping dates are indicative and depend on carrier schedules, port congestion, and weather. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping lines, port authorities, or force majeure events. Risk transfers to the buyer once the vehicle is loaded on board (FOB Incoterms).
8. Import Regulations
The buyer is solely responsible for confirming that the vehicle meets the import rules of the destination country (age limit, emissions, right/left-hand drive, etc.). We are not liable for vehicles refused at destination due to local regulations.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Once a vehicle is purchased at auction or reserved from stock, cancellation is not possible. If cancellation is exceptionally accepted, an administration and storage fee may apply and will be deducted from the refund.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability arising from any single transaction shall not exceed the FOB value of the vehicle concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — logos, text, photographs, and stock listings — is owned by or licensed to EFJ Co., Ltd. and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without written permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
